This week on Air Adventure Aboard the Blazing Icarus: the titular craft, an aeronautical abode of derring-do, has been hired by Prof. Phillip “Massachusetts” James Jr. to explore a lost temple in the exotic Samiatra Islands and recover the legendary Emerald of Enlightenment. And did I mention the devious traps and vengeful ghost-pirates?

The Expendable Scoundrels system utilizes small dice pools of d8s as its main mechanic (which will be provided) to create characters of magic and might trying to scrape by in spite of an oppressive world; the Air Adventure Aboard the Blazing Icarus setting uses the “Word from Our Sponsors” mechanic to benefit players when the going gets tough and give the game a Golden Age radio mixed with pulpy 30s adventure serial feel.
