In a world without super heroes what do citizens do when a Natural Disaster strikes their city of Metroville? The citizens must find a way to save themselves. Players play as these citizens and must join together to save their city of Metroville and rescue their fellow citizens from the Disaster. Whether it be a massive flood, a destructive earthquake, or a raging inferno, it will take cooperation to defeat the Disaster.
Citizen Heroes is a cooperative card drafting and community resource management game for 2-4 heroes. Players play as Citizen Heroes and band together to rescue their fellow citizens as they attempt to escape a Natural Disaster set to destroy their city. With 9 Heroes to choose from, each with their own asymmetrical player powers, Citizen Heroes heavily encourages cooperative game play. Each Citizen Hero must contribute to the group because if they donât, Metroville and its citizens are most certainly doomed.
There is also a unique Danger mechanism that can be punishing if players wait too long to rescue citizens. Citizens will be lost to the Disaster quickly. Managing Danger and using resources efficiently as a group is crucial.
2-4 Players. Plays in 60-90 minutes
