MicroGammon was created to update this venerable game and make it accessible to more people by compressing the game and making it easier and faster to learn and play. The goal of providing faster play is in keeping with the desires and interests of the younger generation.
An important feature of MicroGammon is that the rules are fundamentally the same as they are for the normal backgammon game.
MicroGammon is not just an update to traditional backgammon but is also unique enough to have received a US patent.
